Line 6 DL4 MkII — Delay, Reverb & Looper Pedal

Best for

Hands-on delay and reverb presets, live mono or stereo looping, MIDI-controlled rigs, and microphone processing where a screenless four-footswitch workflow is welcome.

Who should skip

Skip it if you need a display-led editor workflow, battery operation, USB audio, or persistent extended loops without adding a compatible microSD card.

Watchouts

It does not run on batteries, USB is for MIDI and supported firmware functions rather than USB audio, and a microSD card is not included. The current manual specifies 9 V DC at 500 mA center-negative; a Line 6 FAQ separately says at least 300 mA of clean 9 V DC can work. Use the included adapter or verify a third-party supply against the manual rating. Recheck each retailer's CAD price, availability, condition, and package contents.

Likely add-ons

  • instrument and output cables appropriate to the mono or stereo rig

Verify before buying

  • Is the included Line 6 DC-1g power supply present, or can the planned supply meet the manual's 9 V DC, 500 mA, center-negative requirement?
  • Does the intended workflow require mono or stereo looping, microphone input, MIDI, external footswitches, or an expression pedal?
  • Is a 4 GB-or-larger microSD card needed for extended and power-cycle-persistent loop storage?
